China Restaurant Shares a Big News with its Customers
China Restaurant, a popular Chinese restaurant chain, is taking a big step forward this week with the announcement that it has a new CEO, who replaces CEO Yu Yang.
The move was announced at the Beijing International Food and Beverage Exhibition, where Yu Yang is taking over as the company’s CEO.
The announcement comes just a day after Yu Yang announced that he would be leaving the company.
The company has not said whether or not the new CEO will continue to serve as CEO, but CEO Yu announced his departure during a keynote address to the company on Monday.
The new CEO joins the team that was announced on Monday, as well as the newly formed Beijing office, which will be responsible for overseeing operations in China.
According to a press release from the company, the new team will be focused on bringing the brand and brand-wide benefits to the Chinese market.
Yu Yang will serve as the new China CEO for the next six months.
Yu’s tenure at China Restaurant is expected to be a challenging one.
He will be the third CEO to leave China Restaurant after Yu’s predecessor, Zhu Zhiyong, left for the US in 2014.
He also left China Restaurant in 2016 when he took over for Yu, who left in 2017.
However, he is expected leave the company sooner rather than later, as he has had a long list of health issues and has been hospitalized in recent months.
His departure comes as China Restaurant faces increased scrutiny over the quality of its food.
Earlier this year, the company was fined $2.5 million by the Chinese government after it was revealed that the company had been making false claims to the Food and Drug Administration that it could treat more people in the country with the company-produced meat.
